Happy Monday everyone! I was lucky enough to receive a package from Influenster with a bunch of e.l.f goodies inside! Among those goodies was the baked highlight and contour(which I see all over Pinterest)(and is only $4) and I was super excited to finally get my hands on it. As most brands, e.l.f has a lot of hit or miss products, at least for me.
I first went in to apply the highlight how I would apply any other highlight. I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighter brush. To be very honest I had to apply two generous coats of the highlight to be able to get any pigment and visibility. I then decided to go ahead and spray my brush with some mac fix plus and try to apply it this way.
(Highlight applied wet)
I have to admit that I very much prefer how this product looks wet rather than dry. It has much more shine and pigment to it. It doesn't accentual any of my texture or pores which is a huge plus!
The Roundup: I love how this product looks wet and don't mind going the extra mile to be able to get some pigment. The end result is totally worth it! If you prefer to take less steps in your makeup routine and love a simple and minimal product than you should probably look somewhere else....
Disclaimer: I received this product for free but all opinions are my own!
